SOUTH HOLLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT 150 BOARD OF EDUCATION
The South Holland School District 150 Board of Education is comprised of seven (7) elected officials who provide governance and establish policies for the district, which are then implemented by the Superintendent and the administrative team.
The seven (7) individuals who serve on the South Holland School District 150 school board are to be
commended for their volunteerism, dedication and commitment to this community on behalf of the
children. They work countless hours attending board meetings and school activities, answering community
questions, refining their governance skills, and so much more.
The service of school board members continue to be a job best done from a personal, heartfelt desire to
improve the quality of education for the children. Otherwise, the requirements of this job could easily
become overwhelming: meeting once or twice a month (often more), addressing challenging and often
emotional issues related to staff, students, parent /community concerns, and regularly receiving numerous
telephone calls, texts, and emails. It is easy to see that our school board members are persistent in working on behalf of children, with high student achievement as the focus of their decisions.
School board members promote the school district as they regularly interact with the community; taking the
initiative to keep citizens aware of successes and challenges; and inviting the parents and community to
become positively involved in the educational training of our children. For these and many other reasons,
the school board members of the South Holland School District 150 deserve our support and applause for
their dedicated services.
